Playlist settings

Play on YouTube now needs nothing: it opens the set as a YouTube playlist (up to 50 videos per part). Saving into your own account needs a one-time, free app ID from YouTube or Spotify, because only you can sign in to your account. The IDs and sign-ins stay in this browser.

Signing in needs the page served at http://127.0.0.1:8613/. Run python -m http.server 8613 --bind 127.0.0.1 in this folder and open that address. Spotify doesn't accept file:// or localhost addresses.

Spotify ()

Go to developer.spotify.com/dashboard, choose Create app, and tick Web API.
Add this Redirect URI:
Copy the app's Client ID here. No secret is needed: the page uses PKCE.

YouTube

In console.cloud.google.com, create a project and enable YouTube Data API v3.
Set up the OAuth consent screen (External, Testing) and add your Google account as a test user.
Under Credentials, create an OAuth client ID (Web application) with this Authorized JavaScript origin:

YouTube's free quota allows about 190 added tracks per day. If a long set runs out, the playlist keeps what was added and the next save resumes where it stopped.
